Angelina C. (Charbonneau) Lamontagne

MANVILLE – Angelina C. Lamontagne, 96, formerly of Church St. in Manville died on Monday, December 24, 2007, in the Oakland Grove Nursing Home in Woonsocket, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Blackstone, MA, a daughter of the late Joseph and Olivine (Latour) Charbonneau, she was the wife of the late John Lamontagne.

A resident of Albion since 1931, she moved to Manville in 1975. A communicant of St. Ambrose Church in Albion, Mrs. Lamontagne had been an inspector for the former Berkshire Hathaway Company in Albion for thirty years. She later worked for the Ann and Hope Company of Cumberland for ten years before retiring in 1962. She was a member of the Manville and Albion Golden Agers and the Manville Manor Club.

She leaves one son, Rosaire and his wife Margaret Lamontagne of Cumberland; one daughter, Dorothy and her husband Eugene Coutu of Leesburg, GA; one brother, Armand Charbonneau of Winter Haven, FL; one sister Lucille Paul of North Smithfield; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Marcel, Paul Emile, Arthur, Roger, Blanche and Clemence Charbonneau and Alice Latour.

Funeral Information

Her funeral will be held on Friday, December 28, 2007, at 9:00AM from THE MENARD FUNERAL HOME, 71 Central St., Manville, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in St. Ambrose Church, 191 School St., in Albion. Burial will follow in St. Ambrose Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend, and may visit with the family from 9:00 to 10:00AM before the Mass.
