View Tribute and Sign Guestbook SWANSEA, MA – Eileen A. (O’Connell) Felix, of Swan Brook Assisted Living in Swansea, formerly of Eisenhower Road, in Swansea, died Sunday, February 28, 2010. Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late John and Rose (Caroll) O’Connell, she was the wife of the late Mathew E. J. Felix.
She worked as a seamstress in the garment industry in Fall River.
Mrs. Felix is survived by a daughter, Karen (Felix) (Oliveira) O’Connell of Somerset, MA; a son, Michael K. E. Felix and his wife Annette of Tewksbury, MA; a sister, Dorothy Wolstencroft of Somerset; four grandchildren, Traci Oliveira, Steven Oliveira, Stephanie MacNeil and Christopher Felix; and a great-granddaughter, Megan Smith. She was the loving aunt of Donna Rodriques of Somerset, and the sister-in-law of Francis and Anna Skammels of Westport, MA.
Funeral Information
Her funeral service will be held Thursday, March 4, 2010, at 9:00am from the HATHAWAY COMMUNITY HOME for FUNERALS, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in Saint Thomas More Church, 386 Luther Ave., Somerset, with burial to follow in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours will be Wednesday, March 3, from 5:00-9:00pm in the funeral home.
