View Tribute and Sign Guestbook WOONSOCKET – Saysamone Thongphala, 45, of Ruby Street, Woonsocket, died unexpectedly at home on Friday, August 24, 2007. Born in Vientaine, Laos, a son of Manh Thongphala of Woonsocket and the late Sy Thongphala, he was the husband of Khamsay Xayasing. He was a resident of Woonsocket for the past nineteen years.
He had been a group leader for the Comtran Corporation of Whitinsville, MA, until the time of his death.
Besides his wife and mother, he leaves three brothers, Noc Thongphala of South Bridge, MA, Khonsavanh Thongphala of Woonsocket, and Chansamouth Thongphala of Wichita, KS; and four sisters, Mannanh Thongphala of Lowell, MA, Khanthong Thounsavanh of Pawtucket, R.I., Khankeo Thongphala and Manivone Thongphala, both in Laos; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Buddhist Prayer Service on Saturday, September 1, 2007, at 8:30AM in THE MENARD FUNERAL HOME, 127 Carrington Avenue, Woonsocket. Cremation will follow in the North Purchase Crematory, 825 North Main Street, Attleboro. Calling hours will be held in the MENARD HOME on Friday, August 31, 2007, from 4:00-8:00PM.
