View Tribute and Sign Guestbook ATTLEBORO – Richard A. "Dick" Landry, 63, of Attleboro, died unexpectedly Friday, May 8, 2009, at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. Born in Brockton, the son of the late N. George and the late Eva (Bent) Landry, he was the husband of Leslie A. (Poirier) Landry.
Raised in Brockton and a graduate of Brockton High School, Mr. Landry lived in Norton before settling in Attleboro eighteen years ago. Dick worked as an engineer at Mupac, Inc., in Brockton for fifteen years and worked at Tyco in Norwood for the last year as a wastewater treatment engineer.
He enjoyed working around the yard and helping other people. He enjoyed taking trips to Key West with his wife and dear friends and in-laws, Gail and Charles Housman. But he most enjoyed the time he spent with his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife and companion of 28 years, Leslie; a son, Scott Landry and his wife Sheri of Brockton; a daughter, Leanne Guilbault and her husband Harvey of Quincy; two brothers, George Landry and his wife Dolores of West Bridgewater and James Landry and his companion Linda Beals of West Wareham; two grandchildren, Samantha and Nicholas Landry of Brockton; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Information
In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Landry’s remains will be cremated and memorial calling hours will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2009, from 4:00-7:00PM in the FOLEY FUNERAL HOME, 126 S. Main St., Attleboro, with a memorial offering at 6:30PM. All other arrangements are private.
