Dianne E. (Travers) Wetherell

EAST TAUNTON – Dianne E. (Travers) Wetherell, 57, died Wednesday, February 3, 2010, in Brockton Hospital, following a brief illness. Born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Edith (Haskell) Travers, she was educated in the Taunton Public Schools and was a 1971 graduate of Taunton High School.

Dianne was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Life Care Center of Raynham , and the Hannah B. Shaw Home in Middleboro and also was associated with Hospice Care of Fall River. She enjoyed the going to the beach, and playing football and baseball.

She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Enos; and a son, George Benjamin Pelletier, both of East Taunton. She was the grandmother of James Olivencia, Quiana Pelletier, and Cayla, and Shania Silvia. Dianne was the sister of Virginia Maddigan of Taunton, Carol Lopes and her husband Edward of Bridgewater, Ann Wambolt and her husband Newell of Lakeville, Rhonda Mc Mann and her husband Robert of East Taunton, Donald Travers of Florida, and the late Benjamin Travers, Jr. She was the aunt of several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

Visiting hours will be held Thursday, February 11, 2010, in THE CRAPO-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 350 Somerset Ave. (Route 138 South), Taunton, from 5:00 to 7:30PM with a funeral service at 7:30PM in the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will be private at a later date.
