William V. "Bill" Raymond

William V. “Bill” Raymond, 77, of Taunton, died Saturday, November 5, 2005 at the Beth Isreal Deaconness Medical Center Boston after an illness of four weeks. Born in Taunton, son of the late Arsene and Mary (Cotter) Raymond.

Educated in Taunton schools he was employed as a Maintenance Man for the former Rosmar Silver Co. in Dighton for over 16 years. He was a member of the Memorial United Methodist Chruch of Taunton and was well known as being with the Taunton Council of Aging.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, K. Pearl (Sypher) Raymond and his children: Linda McLaughlin of Taunton, Pamela Reed of Raynham, Cheryl Raymond of Taunton, Kathy Shelly of NH., John Raymond of Boston , David Raymond of Taunton and also the father of the late William Raymond. His surviving siblings are Elizabeth “Bessie” Gallo of Raynham, Madeline Mador of FL; Russell Raymond of FL, Roland Raymond of Easton, Leo Raymond of North Attleboro and the late Richard, Joseph, John and Edward Raymond; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

Funeral Service will he held in the Memorial United Methodist Church, 176 Somerset Ave,. Taunton on Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at 11AM. Interment services will be held in St Joseph’s Cemetery at a later date.
