FALL RIVER – Juliette (Muller) Savoie, 98, of Fall River, died Thursday, September 3, 2009, at Southpointe Nursing Care Center in Fall River. Born in France, the daughter of the late Alfred and Emma (Sauvageot) Muller, she was the wife of the late Denis Savoie.

Mrs. Savoie worked in the garment industry in Fall River as a floor lady for many years. A communicant of Saint Anne’s Church in Fall River, she was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters and the Amalgamated Garment Workers Union Local# 177.

She is survived by two granddaughters, Vivian Perry of Fall River and Denis Hamilton of Brockton, MA; two great grandsons, Michael Perry of Millville, MA, and Aaron Perry of Tiverton, RI; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Jeannette Hamilton, Yvette Markle, and Roger Savoie.

Funeral Information

Her funeral service will be held Saturday, September 5, 2009, at 8:30AM from the HEBERT-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 945 S. Main St., Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00AM in Saint Anne’s Church, 808 South Main St., Fall River. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will take place from 7:30 to 8:30AM Saturday morning prior to the start of the funeral.
