View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Martha S. Rideout, 94 years old, died in the Tabor Street Nursing Home, New Bedford, on December 31, 2006. Born in Washburn,ME to the late Del and Carrie (Bradford) Rideout.
She was educated in Taunton Schools and a graduate of Taunton High School and the Chandler Secretarial School in Boston. She was the office supervisor for Liberty Mutual Ins. Co. in New Bedford. She retired in 1977 after 40 years with Liberty.
She enjoyed the arts, animals, reading and traveling. She was very active with various Animal Rescue Leagues.
She is survived by a sister-in-law Marion Rideout of ME; several nieces, nephews and a very dear friend, Patricia Colwell of New Bedford.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service in the Pleasant Street Cemetery, Pleasant St. Raynham on Friday Jan, 5, 2007 at 1PM. Arrangements by the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave., Taunton.
