Arthur J. Tetreault

NEW BEDFORD – Arthur J. Tetreault, 81, of Fairhaven, died Saturday, June 23, 2007, at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford. Born in New Bedford, he was the son of the late Hector and the late Mary L. (Fontaine) Tetreault, he was the husband of Florence (Cormier) Tetreault.

Mr. Tetreault served in the Marine Corps during WWII and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He later worked at the Acushnet Company Rubber Division.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Karyn Langlois and her husband Scott, and their children, Cameron, Ethan and Ava May; two nephews, Steve and Trot Hebert; and several other nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Michael Tetreault.

Funeral Information

His funeral will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2007, at 8:00AM from the FAIRHAVEN FUNERAL HOME, 117 Main Street, Fairhaven, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00AM in St. Joseph’s Church, Fairhaven. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery #2, New Bedford. Calling hours are Wednesday from 5:00-8:00PM in the funeral home.
