Grace C. Chadwick

NORTON – Grace C. Chadwick, 85, formerly of Richardson Avenue, Norton, MA, died on Thursday, June 21, 2007, in the Penacook Place Nursing Home, Haverhill, MA. Born in Lowell, MA, a daughter of the late William J. and Briden M. (Stewart) Buchanan, she was the wife of the late Herbert W. Roberts, who was killed in WW II, and the late Chester F. Chadwick.

Mrs. Chadwick was educated in the Lowell Public Schools and was graduated with the Class of 1939 of Lowell High School. She made her home in Norton for more than forty years and was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Norton. She was employed as a home health aide for the Attleboro Visiting Nurse Association for thirteen years, before retiring in 1992.

She leaves two sons, Bruce W. Roberts of Cerritos, CA, and Stephen C. Chadwick, D.M.D., of Haverhill, MA; one sister, Isabel C. Laferriere in Fort Pierce, Florida; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Christine M. Chadwick and the sister of the late David J. and William J. Buchanan.

Funeral Information

Her funeral will be held on Monday, June 25, 2007, at 11:00AM in THE FOLEY-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 126 South Main St. (Route 152), in Attleboro.
