View Tribute and Sign Guestbook RAYNHAM – Mary F. (Medeiros) Anderson, 68, died suddenly Thursday, April 15, 2010, while on vacation in Arizona. Born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Daniel and Mary (Reynolds) Medeiros, she was the wife of Edward W. Anderson, with whom she shared a thirty-eight year marriage.
Mary was raised in Lakeville and was a 1960 graduate of Apponequet Regional High School. She was a retired administrative secretary for the Bridgewater-Raynham Regional School District. Mary was a communicant of St. Ann’s Church in Raynham. She was very active in civic activities within the Town of Raynham .
Besides her husband, she is survived by her only son, Edward M. Anderson and his wife Kerri of Warwick, RI. Mary’s greatest enjoyment was her two granddaughters, Courtney and Ashley Anderson, also of Warwick. She was the sister of Daniel Medeiros and his wife Mary Ann of Buzzards Bay and Cookie Sylvia and her husband John of Middleboro. Mary is also survived by her daughters-in-law, parents, Stanley and Janice Warnock of Warwick, nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many dear friends.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be held in St. Ann’s Church, Raynham, Saturday, April 24, 2010, at 11:00 AM. Interment is scheduled Monday morning in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA. Visiting hours will be held in THE CRAPO-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 350 Somerset Ave. (Route 138 South), Taunton, Friday, April 23, from 4:00-8:00 PM.
