Grace H. Keeler

View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Grace H. (Fisher) Keeler, 93, formerly of Attleboro, died Monday, December 5, 2005 in Taunton. She was the wife of the late Cecil Keeler, who died in 1985. They were married in 1931.
Born on June 24, 1912, in North Greenville, Nova Scotia, Canada, she was a daughter of the late William R. and Hattie M. (Ralph) Fisher. She was raised in Nova Scotia and lived there until 1960, when she came to Attleboro with her family.
Mrs. Keeler worked in the packing division at the former LG Balfour Company in Attleboro for over 18 years. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Attleboro. While living in Canada, she was a member of the Loyal Free Blue Lodge in Springhill, Nova Scotia.
During her retirement years Mrs. Keeler resided in Plainville with her late husband. While living there they both enjoyed various activities with their family and friends. They attended the Plainville United Methodist Church while residing in Plainville. She enjoyed photography.
Grace will be remembered as a loving wife and mother. She especially cherished times spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter, June Milton, of Attleboro, a son, Cecil Keeler, Jr. of Maine, a sister, Edna Hannah, of British Columbia, Canada, five grandchildren, Erin Drew, Michael and Patti Milton, Barden and Heather Keeler. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, and niece, Margaret Good, of New Brunswick, Canada. She was the sister of the late Verma Fisher and the late Eva Kendrick.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend her funeral service Thursday, December 8, 2005 at 10:00 am in the Foley-Hathaway Funeral Home, 126 South Main Street, Rte. 152, Attleboro. Rev. Dr. John Fisk, Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Attleboro will officiate. Burial will follow in North Purchase Cemetery, North Main St., Rte. 152, Attleboro. Calling hours are Wednesday, December 7, 2005 from 7:00-9:00 pm.
