View Tribute and Sign Guestbook SWANSEA, MA – Pauline Sheila (DeMoura) Nascimento, 68, of Swansea, died Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at her residence. She was born in Fall River, the daughter of the late August and Lena (Camara) DeMoura. Pauline was a 1959 graduate of the former Dominican Academy.
Pauline began her career by working for AETNA Insurance and Cypress Tool & Dye; she retired from the Testand Corp. in Pawtucket, RI, after twenty years as an office manager in 2008. Mrs. Nascimento enjoyed the time she spent over the years at home with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Todd P. Nascimento and his wife Deidre of Swansea, MA, and Scott P. Nascimento of Warren, RI; a sister, Eileen Oliveira of Tiverton, RI; two brothers, Robert DeMoura and Franny DeMoura, both of Somerset, MA; three loving grandchildren, Christopher, Riley and Ryan; and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, May 24, 2010 at 9:00am in Saint Patrick’s Church, 306 South St., Somerset, with burial to follow in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Somerset. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Those attending the funeral Mass should report directly to the Church Monday morning.
