Christos Theodorides

July 15, 1929 - December 28, 2006

Christos Theodorides age 77 of Parker Street, Attleboro died Thursday December 28, 2006 in the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. He was the devoted husband for 57 years of Anastasia (Efthimiadou) Theodorides. He was born in Edessa, Greece on July 15, 1929 a son of the late Avram and Sofia Theodorides.

He had lived in Attleboro for the past 38 years having grown up in Greece where he had served with the Army during the Korean Conflict. He was an avid Fisherman, Guitar player and gardener. He was a member of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church in Pawtucket.

Besides his wife he leaves on son George Theodorides of Attleboro and four daughters Eva Theodorides of Brockton, MA. Sofia Adib of South Attleboro, Cathy Betts of Attleboro and Elaine Hernandez of Rehoboth. One sister, Vasiliki Spaneas in Vermont and seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

His funeral will be held on TUESDAY January 2, 2007 at 8:30 AM from THE FOLEY-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 126 South Main St. (Route 152) in Attleboro followed by a Service in the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 97 Walcott St. Pawtucket at 10 AM. Burial will follow in the Family Lot in Oak Knoll Cemetery, Route 118, Rehoboth,MA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may visit with the family in THE FOLEY CHAPEL on TUESDAY FROM 8:30 TO 9:30 AM before the service.
