View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Joseph “Emile” Beauchemin, 80 of Providence St Woonsocket died Thursday at Woonsocket Health Center, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Jacqueline ( Guilbert) Beauchemin, they were married for over 49 years. He was born in Woonsocket on July 30 1926, a son of the late Henri & Laura ( Lessard) Beauchemin.
He was a Truck Driver for 18 years for the Birch Hill Poultry Company of North Smithfield before retiring in 1986. he was also a truck driver for the Greylawn Poultry Company of Providence for 10 years. He was a US Navy Veteran serving during WWII, as a seaman second class. He has been a Woonsocket resident all his life. He was a former parishioner of St Agatha Church, an avid walker.
Besides his wife he is the father and father in law of Gary & Diana Beauchemin of Rutland MA, Luke & Michelle Beauchemin of Woonsocket, Diane & Peter Gallotello of Harrisville, Janet & Richard Gamache of Woonsocket. Brother of Lucien Beauchemin of Redondo Beach California, Alfred Beauchemin of Sacramento California, Armand Beauchemin of Woonsocket, Aldor Beauchemin of Cumberland, Andre Beauchemin of Attleboro, 3 sisters Alice Boucher of Anaheim California, Blanche Beauchemin of Cumberland, Annee Shirley of Woonsocket. Grandfather of Rose Gallotello, Kayla, Sara Gamache, Zachary , Joshua, Nicholas Beauchemin. He was the father of the late Eugene Beauchemin and brother of the late Herve Beauchemin.
Funeral Information
His funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00am in THE MENARD FUNERAL HOME, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket, RI, burial with Military Honors will follow in St Jean Baptiste Cemetery Bellingham MA , Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours FRIDAY from 10:00 - 11:00am.
