Germaine I. Lamothe

NEW BEDFORD – Germaine I. (Mailloux) Lamothe, 89, of New Bedford, formerly of Riverview Towers in Fall River, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2007, at the Sacred Heart Home in New Bedford. Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Lucien and Alice (Bouchard) Mailloux, she was the wife of the late Herve Lamothe.

Mrs. Lamothe worked as a machine operator in the garment industry in the Fall River – New Bedford area for many years before retiring in 1960. She was a former communicant of Saint Anne Church in New Bedford, and Holy Trinity Church in Fall River, and a life member of the Ladies of Saint Anne Sodality.

Mrs. Lamothe leaves a brother Henri Mailloux of Manchester, NH; two sisters, Yvonne Gagnon of Fall River, and Adelia “Del” Pinault of Orlando, FL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Marie B. Dion and Alice St. Yves.

Funeral Information

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 9, 2007, at 10:00AM in the Sacred Heart Home, 359 Summer St., New Bedford. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
