Caring For You, Caring For Them

Continued

  • CARING VISION AND MEDITATION! This holiday season see yourself as an extension of the love of the world, a love that still encompasses the person you lost. To do this, meditate for a short time; start with 5 minutes. Sitting comfortably or lying down (if sitting doesn't promote peaceful bodily feelings), imagine a warm light extending from a point in the universe. Draw that light into your heart and breathe it in. Then, after sitting with this for a few minutes, see that love extending out of your own heart, back to the creative universe. In this way, you can see and feel yourself as an extension of the love process. When you receive the gift of love, you give it at the same time. What could be better!
  • Remember that actions are always a salvation. Doing something ensures that you are participating, that you are taking initiative to heal, to care for yourself and for your loved one. Be good to yourself and, therefore, to your loved one.
